One of Europe's most powerful charging stations is now in operation at Bäckströms Anläggning ⚡
The facility has been installed by EL13R and we are proud to have supplied the foundation solutions for the project. The station is a clear example of how the next generation of charging infrastructure is now emerging to meet the increasing need for fast and reliable charging - both for passenger cars and heavy traffic.
For the project, we supplied foundations for the Alpitronic HYC1000 Power Cabinet and a total of 13 Universal Medium foundations for the on-site charging equipment. The installation consists of 8 dispensers with both MCS and CCS outlets and 5 HYC400 chargers, creating a flexible and future-proof solution for high-performance charging.
In total, the station comprises 13 chargers and 26 charging points with a combined power of 10,000 kW. This makes it one of the most powerful charging hubs in Europe and an important step in the development of electrified transport and heavy charging infrastructure in Sweden.
The project also demonstrates the importance of robust and scalable foundation solutions that can handle high outputs, rapid installation and future expansion. Our steel foundations allow for efficient installation while providing flexibility for future changes and additions to the plant.
