TectoPower's foundation is ready for the next generation of charging

The expansion of heavy charging infrastructure continues to gain momentum in Sweden. At Circle K's station at Vädermotet in Gothenburg, a Kempower MCS (Megawatt Charging System) charger has been installed on the steel foundations supplied by TectoPower several years ago. The foundations were developed from the outset with future technological advances in mind, of which MCS is a clear example.

Our steel foundations are designed for long-term flexibility. The modular design with interchangeable top plate makes it possible to upgrade hardware, change charger brands and scale up power without replacing the foundation. This has been a key part of Circle K's efforts to efficiently roll out both heavy-duty DC solutions and MCS-prepared environments.

Customers often highlight benefits such as:
- quick installation without waiting for a concrete lorry and subsequent curing
- lower total cost of ownership through reduced earthworks and easier servicing
- possibility to change top plates during hardware upgrades
- robust construction that can withstand Nordic conditions

As a supplier of a large part of Sweden's public DC foundations and with a growing number of heavy e-mobility projects in the Nordics, TectoPower continues to be a key partner in the electrification of the transport sector. We stand ready to support the next phase with faster deployment, lower total cost and future-proof charging infrastructure.
