Q&A General
What guarantee do you provide on your products?

25 years warranty on both our steel foundations for EV charging and solar panel mounting systems.

Of course we can do that. We have delivered to several international projects and can export to most countries.

Yes, please read about our reference projects and what our customers think of us on the "References" page.

Yes, we develop and produce both standard and customised solutions. Contact us for more information.

Our website provides up-to-date installation instructions. We also offer support for a smooth installation. Because we want to work closely with our customers, we are never more than a phone call or an email away.

Our production is located in Malmö industrial harbour where all production takes place.

We pack for efficient transport and minimised waste, and actively work on sustainable delivery solutions.

Why should we choose steel foundations instead of concrete for electric vehicle chargers?

There are many advantages to choosing steel. It is a lighter material than concrete, which means lower shipping costs and easier handling during installation. Our foundations are customised and designed to make installation as smooth and quick as possible. In the longer term, it is also an advantage as the life of the charger is shorter than that of the foundation, with our foundations you can change the charger without having to dig again. The mounting plate, which is adapted to the charger's hole pattern, can be easily replaced. When it's time for a new charger, it's therefore quick and easy.

Our foundations are universal and adapted to the market's leading charger brands. We are constantly developing and adapting our products to the new chargers introduced on the market.

Chargers can be replaced or upgraded without groundwork. Steel has a long lifespan and our products are designed for easy replacement of both chargers and other accessories such as lighting and bollards.

Yes, most of our foundations can be used for heavy goods vehicle charging points. Depending on the design of the charging point, we can suggest and find a good solution.

No, our steel foundations do not require concrete - saving time, earthworks and reducing the CO₂ footprint.

Normal delivery time is 5-6 weeks, but we adapt to the project schedule if necessary.

Yes, we offer delivery directly to site and can coordinate with contractors/installers.

No, our foundations are designed for easy and quick installation with standard equipment.

We plan logistics and production together with the customer and offer partial deliveries for larger projects if needed.

Our foundations are developed for Nordic conditions and can be installed all year round. It's the ground conditions that matter.

Yes, the design allows for both relocation and reuse for future needs.

Yes, the advantage of our foundations is that they are adapted to all brands of chargers through the mounting plate. This also means that if you need to replace the charger in the long term.

Where are TectoPower's mounting systems manufactured?

All our assembly systems are manufactured locally in Malmö using steel that comes exclusively from Swedish suppliers. This means short lead times, high quality and full control over the production chain.

Future smart means that products are designed with both long-term functionality and sustainability in mind. Our systems minimise installation time, require little maintenance and are recyclable, making them a wise choice for both the environment and the economy.

Yes, our systems are specifically designed to withstand extreme weather conditions in the Nordic countries. They are designed for snow zone 3.5, wind zone 26 m/s and terrain type 1, which corresponds to very demanding environments.

In most cases, no geotechnical investigation is needed. Our systems are designed to cope with varying ground conditions, simplifying planning and saving time and money on the project.

The anchoring is done with ground nails, ground screws or other ballast solutions, depending on the nature of the soil. The systems are flexible and adaptable to work even where it is difficult to anchor deeply.

A modular system means that it can be easily scaled up or customised depending on the size and needs of the project. This simplifies logistics, assembly and future expansion.

Yes, our systems are designed to work with solar panels between 1700-2300 mm in length, and in different width and height formats. This makes them suitable for both small and large solar installations.

We use hot-dip galvanised steel with a thickness of 3 mm, which provides very good strength and a long service life even under tough climatic conditions. The steel is protected against corrosion according to C5 class.

Installation is simple and efficient, with pre-assembled parts that reduce the need for specialised tools. This means that the systems can be installed quickly, saving both time and costs.

The standard inclination is 35 degrees, which provides a good balance between energy production and snow runoff - particularly important in Nordic conditions.

Yes, we offer both Small/Medium and Large systems to meet different needs. This makes it easy to find the right solution whatever the scale of your project.
